I've had a couple people ask me lately where and how I find such cool deals. Well.....here is my list broken up into three categories .....
-General, ie movies, vacations, restaurants, workshops, adventure and just about everything under the sun
-Childrens Items, ie clothes, toys, gifts, and more
-Coupons, Giveaways, and local deals

General
Living Social is a website that offers deals up to 90% off in your local large city and nationwide. Deals are amazing and can last up to 3 days or until they run out of offers for that particular promotion. I have gotten great deals on here such as two fandango.com movie tickets for $9 and some great restaurant deals! Plus you get $5 for every friend that you reffer.
Groupon is just like Living Social but often offers more deals in Monterey and Santa Cruz. They often feature deals at our local golf courses and restaurants. Be sure to bookmark this one!
Slick deals is more of a forum type format and just lists the newest online sales and specials from all types of stores. So if your not looking for anything in specific and just want to know what deals are going on then check it out!
Kids
This is a mommy blog that often tells us who and what is having teh best deals. its not always in regards to children but definitely worth bookmarking!
I think this is my most used deal website when it comes to kids! So great for gifts and fun stuff! Plus you get rewards for reffering friends and more. I think this website is the bee's knee's! AND a percentage of each purchase you make goes to your school of choice.....how cool is that?
The Mini Social
This is another favorite. They offer really fun adn trendy brands for kids like Independent, Melissa and Doug, Croc's, Baby Star, Converse and more. This is the place to go for cool clothes and toys! AND if you use the code LUCKYKIDS through the month of March you get $10 off! Don't forget new stuff is added everyday!
Zulilly
Not only does Zulilliy offer stuff for kids but stuff for Moms. They have maternity clothes, chic diaper bags, gifts, and lingerie. A guilty pleasure sight for sure! Their kids clothes tend to be more posh and sweet!
Deal Pop
Deal Pop offers kids clothes, toys, and more for a limited time at a large discount. Its fun to check back each day to see what they have to offer!
Coupons, Coupons, Coupons!
So I'll admit that the above sites are mostly indulgences and a great way to blow a paycheck. If your just into saving money then these links are for you!
Oh boy this is one of my favorites. For those of us that DO shop online a lot it would behoove you to go through Ebates first. Once you set up a free account you just visit their site before making a purchase at one of their hundreds of participating stores and you get a percentage back of what you spent. Every 6 months or so they will issue you a check or put money back into your paypal account. Last quarter I got $30 into my paypal....thats just awesome!

The name says it all. Its primarily grocery coupons acceptable at any store except Trader Joe's and Whole Foods. Pretty simple and easy to print out. Note: Whole foods offers their own coupons now on their website.
